Pay a lasting tribute to a special person in your life while conveying your personal commitment to learning and knowledge with Honor With Books. In recognition of each gift made to Honor With Books, the Libraries will place a bookplate bearing the name of the donor and the person in whose honor the gift is made in a newly purchased book in a subject area of your choosing. You and your honoree will receive a copy of the beautiful, personalized bookplate, along with the title and call number of the book. For generations to come, each time the book is used, your honoree will be recognized and your thoughtfulness remembered. Honor With Books – for graduations, personal achievements, birthdays, memorial tributes, retirements, anniversaries, professional honors, weddings, special teachers, and classmates.

Honor with Books gives recognition while contributing to the excellence of the Libraries and the campus. Your gift will benefit generations to come and be a statement of your conviction that the Libraries are the vital intellectual center of the university.

For those who wish to offer a special recognition, we invite you to consider establishing a named collection endowment for $25,000. Bookplates in the donor’s name, or in the name of a person of the donor’s choosing, will be placed in books that are acquired with those funds, and the collection will grow in perpetuity. For further information about Honor With Books or establishing a named collection endowment, please call (949) 824-4651.
