Our expert library staff provide advice on the entire research lifecycle from data identification, metadata, dissemination, to preservation. The UCI Libraries partner with UCI faculty, students, and administrators to increase the impact of research and scholarly communication using new media and digital technologies. We provide services to improve widespread access and worldwide discovery for the valuable published and unpublished research output created by UCI’s faculty and students. These efforts enhance UCI’s global reputation and the open sharing of information accelerates scientific discovery.

Collection Enhancement Fund
Gifts to this fund help to purchase, or acquire access to, essential books, journals, and other educational materials in all formats (print, online, multimedia, etc.), that support the teaching and research on campus and serve as an information resources for the community.
Library Endowment
Gifts to The Library Endowment provide enduring support for library initiatives that have a broad impact across campus and will touch the lives of all students, staff and faculty.
Gateway Society
