Books connect us to our loved ones, friends, and teachers as well as to the history of our world; bookplates make that connection visible. Honor with Books is a great way to pay a lasting tribute to a special person in your life, or commemorate an important occasion, by placing a bookplate in a new book in the Libraries’ collection. Think of Honor with Books to recognize graduations and and retirements, birthdays and anniversaries, weddings and memorial tributes, or the special teachers in your life. Participants may select a book in the subject area of their choosing, making the gift unique and memorable. Proceeds from the Honor with Books Program are directed to the Libraries’ Book Fund to support the annual purchase of new titles and materials. A gift through the Honor with Books program not only recognizes someone special in your life, but also demonstrates your love for learning, knowledge and books.
