The John and Elizabeth Stahr Library Fund was established in 2002 with a leadership gift by John and Elizabeth Stahr. The Stahr Fund provides annual support for the Libraries’ general research collections which reflects the couples wish to help support all academic disciplines on campus.
“The Libraries are the foundation of innovative learning for the campus, and we are proud to support them and invest in this transformation of new knowledge,” said the Stahrs. The couple are steadfast supporters of UCI since 1964. They received the UCI Medal in 2003 in recognition of their exceptional support of the university.
