Lydia Fletcher joins UCI Libraries

ImageLydia Fletcher joined the UCI Libraries in October as Research Librarian for Mathematics, Physics & Astronomy, and Classics. Lydia gained valuable experience assisting faculty and students at the University of Texas, Austin’s Physics, Math and Astronomy Library as a Graduate Research Assistant.

Lydia received her M.S. in Information Studies from the University of Texas, Austin; a Masters of Studies in English 650-1550 from Oxford University, and a B.A. in English from the University of Texas, San Antonio. Her educational studies at Oxford and her work experience at the University of Texas make her an ideal Research Librarian for Mathematics, Physics & Astronomy, and Classics. In addition, Lydia brings an interest and enthusiasm for digital humanities and data curation.
