Following the program, Folkenflik signed copies of Page One: Inside the New York Times and the Future of Journalism, a timely new collection of essays by reporters and media experts on the state of American journalism, which he edited. Page One expands on themes from the documentary film of the same name by Andrew Rossi.

Folkenflik's voice has become very familiar to those who listen to National Public Radio. As NPR's Media Correspondent his stories are broadcast regularly on NPR's Morning Edition, All Things Considered, and Talk of the Nation. Most recently, he has provided insightful coverage of the international story involving Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation. A four-time winner of the National Press Club's Arthur Rowse Award for Press Criticism, Folkenflik appears frequently as a media analyst on U.S. and British television news programs. A graduate of Cornell University with a degree in history, Folkenflik now lives in New York with his wife, the journalist Jesse Baker.
