T. Jefferson Parker

Popular best-selling author T. Jefferson Parker will serve as a keynote speaker at the fifth annual Literary Orange on Saturday, April 9, 2011, 8am - 5pm, at the UCI Student Center. Parker will be joined by critically acclaimed author and professor of fiction Ron Hansen, as a second keynote, along with over 50 authors of all genres.

"This is a fantastic event for the campus and community to come together and enjoy," said Julie Sully, interim Director of Development for the UCI Libraries, one of the event's co-organizers. "As UCI and the surrounding region have become more aware of this dynamic literary festival, and the opportunity to spend quality time with authors, it is no surprise to see a higher turnout of devoted fans each year. We anticipate the event will be one of UCI's marquee events very soon."

Presented by the UCI Libraries and the OC Public Libraries, Literary Orange offers attendees and fans the opportunity to engage with an exciting array of authors, ask questions, purchase books and have them signed, and learn about the writing process.
