The Libraries’ Fall Exhibit, Picture This: Five Centuries Of Book Illustration, will examine the history of book illustration through a colorful overview of the evolution of various production processes. Works displayed will reflect the traditional methods of earlier centuries as well as the more experimental approaches of contemporary illustrators and book artists.

An opening event will be held in Langson Library on November 14 and will feature a talk by Stephen Tabor, Curator of Early Printed Books, Huntington Library. The event is free and open to the public. The exhibit will be on display through April 2007 in the Langson Library’s Reynolds Gallery during regular library hours. Please call 949.824.7227 for further information about the exhibit.
