Genealogy 101:
Where to find those lost ancestors?
Wednesday, September 15, 2010, 11 am – 1 pm
Description: Many of us are asking the question "Where do I come from and who are my ancestors?" This workshop will equip you with strategies for collecting, preserving and disseminating knowledge in regards to genealogy and related historical and biographical data. This is your opportunity to learn and utilize genealogical research techniques, and explore resources and databases. For beginners to more advanced learners, this workshop will give everyone something to work on at home.

Joan presents classes and speaks to groups on genealogy, and has put together research trips to Salt Lake City for the Society for the past 17 years. She helped catalog the sizeable genealogy collection for the online catalog for the Huntington Beach Public Library.
