Forest J. and Dolores S. Grunigen Library Endowed Fund
The Forest J. and Dolores S. Grunigen Library Endowed Fund was established in 2002 by Mrs. Dolores Grunigen to reflect the passion that she and her husband Forest shared for UC Irvine, the Libraries, and their love of books and learning. The gift provides unrestricted support for the Libraries’ general research collections.
While the couple dedicated their professional lives to the medical field, their interests extended to many other areas. The Grunigen Fund provides a permanent stream of resources for the Libraries to acquire books and other academic materials across all academic disciplines, such that all of the couple’s diverse intellectual pursuits are represented.
Materials purchased with this fund include:
- Clinical genetics in nursing practice / Felissa R. Lashley
- Primer in radical criminology : critical perspectives on crime, power and identity / by Michael J. Lynch and Raymond J. Michalowski
- Les papillons : for voice and piano / Claude Debussy ; text by Théophile Gautier ; transcription and essay by Marie Rolf with a pref. by Margaret G. Cobb
- Crime, anti-social behaviour and schools / edited by Carol Hayde, Denise Martin
